The 1974 Honda ATC70
HOME
This is a 1974 ATC70. This was the second year for the ATC70. Honda then stopped production on these for the next 4 consecutive years until it's re-release in 1978.
This is in pretty good shape for it's year. It is fully functional, and I will tinker with it over time.
The 1st generation ATC70 was introduced in 1973 as the world's first child sized ATV.
It was different from the US90 (ATC90) in the sense that it had
wheels like today's modern ATVs, while the US90 had a wheel/tire combo. It was also much smaller than the US90.
The 1st generation ATC70 was only made
for two years (1973 and 1974). The 1973 model had silver colored front forks and flame graphics
on the gas tank and rear
fenders. The 1974 ATC70 was all red with yellow graphics on the gas tank and rear fenders.
After 1974 the ATC70 was absent from the Honda ATC line up until it's re-release in 1978.
