Smith Road Raceway - July 4th - 2008
A huge turn out for the 4th of July 2008. 2 classes (A and B) and 8 trikes at the gate in each. New faces amoungst seasoned vets. What a great time. Special thanks to Miranda for taking these great photos.
A little pre-race talk - Rick (Seadoo) and Josh (Kintore)
Derrick somehow grew horns before the race.
Shelly and Alicia getting geared up and ready after a muddy practice session.
B Class Holeshot artist Rob Mosher out in front early.
Rob held on the whole race despite ATCTim's futile attempts.
The girls - first lap around and doing great.
I could not get around Rob on his H20 powered 250R - danged old aircooleds!!
Rick, AKA Mr Seadoo, getting extra points for style in the whoops section:)
Lap 2 and still can't pass Rob - he is too fast.
Jason Cook, AKA - Mill Rat - a new face was tearing it up on an awesome 200X that he built
Alicia - charging the whoops section without prejudice.
Shelly - showing her Auto-X who is boss as she gives her suspension a workout in the whoops.
A Class at the Gate
A Class holeshot - great action right here.
A Class turn one - everyone was packed in there like sardines!
Lou - Working that 500 - or is that 500 working him. Props go out to Lou who had mechanical problems in both motos!
The Snake - checking out the 250R - A first time racer and he did great.
A Class race leaders - Derrick Adams and Hired Gun
Kintore - GET IT RAGGGG!! the bumble bee is back - beotch!!!!!!
The Seadoos had everyone out for a cookout - and 70 flat track race after the races. Oh what fun:)
Shelly - get it girl - looking good baby!
Alicia - trying out the Tri-Zinger for speed
Dawn and some crazy antics on the Zinger. I call this move - "The Swan"
Sorry Miranda - you can't run the 500 - this race is for small bore only
That's better - Miranda getting it done on the Zinger.
Josh Powersliding the 70. The races got real fun after dark.
Rick had about the best consistant lap times on the Zinger.
Alicia in her heat.
Thanks to all - we had a great time. Can't wait till Labor Day. BTW - corn gets way taller than "knee high by the 4th of July" in OHIO. I told you guys - everything is faster in Ohio!
Shelly and Dawn pose for this picture after they got done shooting carp with their bow and arrows from a local bridge.
